The Air Jordan 4 “White Cement” is one of the most iconic sneakers in the Jordan lineup — and this 2025 retro does a solid job capturing that OG essence. From the crisp white leather upper to the signature speckled wings and midsole, the shoe brings back that classic ‘89 energy that helped define the Jordan 4.
Subtle refinements like the improved shape and slightly adjusted details make this version the most true-to-OG release we’ve seen in years. We even get splatter print on the Nike lettering on the back (as opposed to it being on the backtab, but not the logo itself.
Even though the AJ4 doesn’t rank high for comfort in my rotation, I had to grab this pair again. I’ve owned this colorway a couple of times. The colorway is too classic, and this version gets closer to the OG than we’ve seen in a while. I’ve had previous retros, but this one feels like the best version yet. I was happy to add them back into the collection. I lucked out and managed to get them on release day on the SNKRS app.
The pair comes with white laces and the classic Nike Air hangtag, which is always a nice touch. No surprises packaging-wise — you get the speckled AJ4-style box with the black lid and Jumpman branding.
Materials
The materials feel decent for a retro Jordan — not premium, but solid. You get a full leather upper with the signature cement print hits, mesh panels on the sides and tongue, and the familiar support wings in some rubbery plastic. The white on the upper is a tad shiny for my taste as far as the coating goes, but the cuts of leather seem thick and the construction is relatively well put together.
Fit & Comfort
Fit is the usual story with Jordan 4s. I’ve never been wild about how they feel on-foot — a little stiff and blocky — but they’re manageable for casual wear. They have been pinky toe killers in the past. I went true to size, and while I wouldn’t choose these for long walks, they’re fine for everyday wear if you’re a fan of the silhouette.
